HOST Milano 2017

the "fundamental meeting point for professional hospitality" is finally ready to open its doors.
We’re almost there: just a few more days and HOST Milan 2017, the reference Trade Fair for equipment, coffee and food and leader in the Ho.Re.Ca., foodservice, retail, Large-scale Distribution and hotel industries, will finally open its doors. We are already familiar with the figures and importance of this event, and from October 20th to 24th we will be ready to welcome you to Fiera Milano in over 350 square meters of exhibition space, Pavilion 3 Stand P43 R50, where we will present visitors with our most loved classic products, new products, innovations we have come up with for our top-of-the-range LX900 Top, S900 and S700 kitchens, our latest products for 2017 and previews. La Cucina, Berto’s highly successful flagship, already extremely well-received by our customers, is ready to be the centre of attention: we will be presenting 2 new configurations with a highly innovative design that incorporates avant-garde technological solutions and components. To do this, we have focused on hospitality and together with APCI, the Associazione Professionale Cuochi Italiani (Association of Professional Italian Chefs), with whom we have been working for over two years, we have organised the initiative "4x4" especially for Host: over the first 4 days of the Trade Fair, 4 top Italian Michelin-starred chefs will give demonstrations, cooking shows and meet with the public while using our kitchens. The chefs are Giancarlo Perbellini, Massimiliano Mascia and Claudio Sadler, all with 2 Michelin stars, and female chef Antonella Ricci, with 1 Michelin star. 4 successful professionals, who work from the North to South, from Milan to Brindisi, representing the richness and vivacity of great Italian tradition and its geographical nuances.
But our participation in Host 2017 doesn't stop here: we will also be engaged in two other initiatives, starting with Identità Future, an offshoot of the event Identità Golose, which is dedicated to the development of new technologies that are marking and will continue to mark future developments in professional foodservice. Our contribution to the 2017 theme is providing Identità Future with our innovative kitchens for cooking shows and demonstrations. The second initiative is a result of our collaboration with APCI: we will be at their stand, equipped with Berto's kitchens, with Progetto Apprendistato (Apprenticeship Project), a “casting” for chefs of the future that over the past few months has involved competitions in the top Italian hospitality schools, using our professional kitchens. With Host 2017 as their stage, the final selection of young chefs will show off their skills in cooking shows (in front of an audience of chefs and restaurant owners, managers of large hotel chains and buying groups), with the hope of being selected for an internship at the most prestigious restaurants and hotels in Italy and abroad.
We have already received over 1000 acceptances and invitation requests, and they are still pouring in. We look forward to seeing you all in Milan in just a few days’ time.
