Prestigious Monaco event that celebrates two decades taste and refinement
The French, as we know, have always paid particular attention to taste and class, which they love to insert in stylish contexts and elegant settings. Monte-Carlo Gastronomie, the prestigious Monaco event that has been celebrating taste and savoir vivre for two decades, is a perfect example. For the 21st Edition, the organisers have once again prepared "an invitation to indulgence", as stated in the official press release, and from November 25th to 28th the Espace Fontvieille (a giant marquee on Avenue des Ligures, with a diameter of almost 60 metres, just a short walk from the seafront and famous for hosting the Cirque de Monte Carlo) will come to life with flavours, aromas and delicacies. In the 2500 square metres of exhibition space, just before the Christmas period, 100 selected food producers will offer tastings and information about their products, with the possibility to buy them. A carousel of French, Italian and European partners, guests, chefs and maître will be involved in the trade show, creating an extremely attractive portrait of continental bon goût. For example, the Association of Italian and French Maîtres d'Hôtel, the Monegasque Association of Sommeliers, the Slow Food Riviera Côte d'Azur association and the Monegasque Hotel Industry Association, but also great Chefs from the Principality and the French Riviera: Joel Garault from the Vistamar Hotel Hermitage in Monaco, Emmanuel Lehrer from the Le Mas de Pierre in St. Paul de Vence, Antonio Fochi, Maître d'Hôtel of the Meridien Beach Plaza Monte-Carlo and President of the A.M.I.R.A association, Dominique Milardi, President of the Monegasque Association of Sommeliers, Jean-Pierre Rous and Guy Cassouto from Slow Food Côte d'Azur.
Monte-Carlo Gastronomie 2016 promises a treasure chest of high-quality products, and we would like to quote from the event’s press release to tell you about what will be on offer:  “Wines, champagnes, cognacs, Armagnacs and liqueurs, but also salmon, foie gras, seafood, truffles, caviar, chocolates, sweets, cheeses, meats, cured meats, organic, jams, culinary specialties ...But that’s not all: the tableware, kitchenware and original gift ideas also make this event unique, in a mix of entertainment, elegance and savoir vivre…”
The three days will also be packed with cooking shows, seeing international chefs busy creating new recipes based on a theme that is changed every year, events and presentations, demonstrations by the invited associations, special awards for exhibitors, sommeliers, winemakers and specialised journalists. Berto's will of course be present at this great event, as our company was invited by the organisers to participate with the dual role of technical partner and exhibitor (we therefore look forward to welcoming you as our guests at our stand under the big top of the Espace Fontvieille).
