Chefs World Summit 2017 – 26-28/11/2017

The Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo as the rendezvous for the world of high-end gastronomy.
5500 square metres to accommodate over 150 exhibitors from 34 countries, 1500 professional chefs from all over the world and more than 100 Michelin stars, 40 scheduled conferences, round tables, debates, events and show cooking displays. These are just a few figures to sum up the second edition of the Chefs World Summit 2017, an event sponsored by Prince Albert of Monaco and held at the Grimaldi Forum Conference Centre in Monte Carlo, world famous for hosting large events like major European football tournament draws, film festivals, thematic debates held by the UN and chosen as the starting point for the first stage of the Tour de France a few years ago. The chefs, who arrived from all over the world, were able to make full use of this magnificent venue, characterised by its airy glass and steel structure and huge windows that wherever you look offer a view of the sea, which lies just a few metres away. An event for meeting and getting to know people, for understanding, exchanging views and trends, a summit in every respect: gourmet food, traditional cuisine, state of the art and new trends, sustainability and healthy-eating rules, patisserie, vegan and allergen-free trends, hospitality management and ergonomics in the workplace were just some of the themes that were discussed over the three days of the summit in Monte Carlo. 
Berto's participated in this assembly of high and very high-end cuisine with a stand displaying the brand’s new monoblock kitchen La Cucina, launched for the first time on the demanding and sophisticated French market and its second public appearance after its world premiere at Host Milan 2017. We were also a partner and Silver Sponsor in Monte Carlo, providing the chefs at the World Summit with 2 cookers, one with the La Cucina configuration and the other consisting of a mobile S700 cooking system with an integrated extraction hood, which they used for their show cooking displays. Alessandro Innocente (Area Manager for the French market) and Gianluca Dal Corso (Area Manager for the French Riviera) oversaw Berto's participation in the event together with Salvatore Abagnale and Carmelo Morgano, President and Director General of the extremely popular Azur Tec Hotel, our partners at the event, whose prestigious showroom in the French Riviera already boasts a La Cucina monoblock kitchen.
