For Expo Milan 2015, Paolo Marchi and Claudio Ceroni, founders of the international Identità Golose congress, had the intuition to create a space dedicated to quality catering and haute cuisine. The theme of Expo 2015 "Feeding the Planet" was perfectly matched with the proposal to offer visitors to the event a high-level culinary experience, just as if, during a break in their visit to the Expo, they directly entered a restaurant that represented the state of the art of international gastronomic research.

The initiative was a great success and the proposal of a tour into the lands of the most qualified food modernity, exclusivity and food culture declined in research really hit the target. At the end of Expo 2015, Marchi and Ceroni immediately made it clear that the experience could not end there and that the path that had just been traced had to be followed to the end. That is why, on 18 September, "Identità Golose Milano" was inaugurated in Via Romagnosi in Milan in the presence of the Mayor Giuseppe Sala, forming a hub that wants to be a territory of research and dissemination of cooking culture in Italy and the world.

Built in the heart of the city, in the fashion district and with a view of that temple of music, La Scala, Identità Golose Milano is a restaurant in the wonderful venue of the Feltrinelli Foundation, one of the brightest beacons of Italian cultural life from the twentieth century to today. The formula of the hub, borrowed from the experience of Expo 2015, is in itself simple like all brilliant things: the Identità Golose Milano restaurant introduces its guests, on a weekly rotation, to great Italian and international chefs, offering alongside their proposals debates, conferences, courses, book presentations and cultural events.

However, the real winner of the hub is the concept of democratizing starred cuisine, nowadays accessible to everyone: by phone or via a dedicated app managed by TheFork digital portal, anyone can book evenings from Wednesday to Saturday and with 75 euros – including pairings with wines and entrées – can taste 4 courses proposed by the great guest chefs and prepared on the two Berto’s La Cucina monoblocks that the hub is equipped with. When the restaurant is not animated by the guest chefs, it is the starred Resident Chef and Ambassador of Taste Andrea Ribaldone, together with the chef Alessandro Rinaldi, who signs the gastronomic offer of the restaurant at lunch time and in the theme evenings on Monday and Tuesday.

In recent months Ribaldone has worked intensely with Berto's in the design of the two La Cucina monoblocks that are now working at full capacity in the hub, and this has enabled us to equip the new Milanese showroom with highly customized equipment able to satisfy the most disparate professional needs of all the great Italian and international chefs who will weekly create their intuitions on them. In the website www.identitagolosemilano.it the programme is already available for the restaurant in the coming months, an offer able to finally make haute cuisine culture within everyone's reach.
